Works great. A couple pulls on the cord and you have nicely diced onions.

First off, I like the red color which is my favorite color. The container is sturdy and it seems fine. I've only used this manual shredder a few times so far. Occasionally, I forget I have it and start chopping by hand before remembering I could��ve used the shredder instead.That said, I��ve used it on yellow onions, and cilantrao (yes making salsa and daily cooking), and it works great��just like chopping with a knife, but without the tears. The shredded pieces come out nicely sized. The longer you shred, the finer the result, so you have good control over how small you want the pieces to be. The blades right now are still sharp, and I haven't noticed any issues with them so far.Another feature I really like is that it��s manual. That means I can take it dry camping and still chop up small items as needed��no need to worry about finding an outlet.I know I need to test chopping more ingredients to see how well it does. I'll update again once I have tested it more.

I LOVE this chopper. I have been trying to incorporate more veggies and this little chopper has made that so much easier. It is very easy to use and overall pretty easy to clean (I add some soapy water and then "chop" it to help to clean the blades). It does a fantastic job on chopping onions so no more tears! The only thing I have tried in it that didn't to a great job of chopping was some fresh cilantro but the leaves just kind of moved between the blades I think. If it was more loaded with the cilantro it probably would have worked better.

This was smaller than I thought it would be, but it works so well! I love using it! We use it mostly for vegetables but my husband wanted chicken nuggets mixed in with his mac and cheese (gross) and I heated them up and then used this to chop them quickly!

This chopper is such a handy, easy to use tool and does a great job of chopping and mincing onions, celery, etc. So much easier to use than my food processor. The blades are incredibly sharp, however, the container seems cheaply made which is why I took off a star. After a couple of months use it is still going strong, but at such a reasonable price, I don��t mind repurchasing it when it gives out. The last one lasted me a couple of years.
