As temperatures gradually drop, pets also need more energy and nutrients to stay healthy. In a warm kitchen, pet owners can use the Geedel Hand Food Chopper to quickly prepare a batch of homemade chicken and vegetable meatballs. Rich in protein and vitamins, these meatballs add warmth and nutrition to your furry friend's autumn and winter diet.

Ingredients:

300g chicken breast

¼ broccoli

¼ carrot

¼ pumpkin

1 egg

¼ cup rolled oats

2 tablespoons olive oil

Note: All ingredients must be verified as safe for pets. Avoid harmful items such as onions and garlic.

Instructions:

1. Prepare vegetables (using Geedel):

Wash, peel, and cut the broccoli, carrot, and pumpkin into chunks. Using the Geedel Food Chopper with the dicing blade, place carrot chunks into the container and press steadily 4–5 times until finely and uniformly chopped. Repeat with the pumpkin and broccoli. The design of this manual vegetable chopper ensures vegetables are cut into sizes that are easy for pets to digest.

2. Prepare the chicken:

Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and mince into a fine paste using a food processor. If a processor is unavailable, chop finely with a knife.

3. Combine ingredients:

In a large bowl, mix the minced chicken, all diced vegetables, rolled oats, and egg until thoroughly combined. Stir by hand or with a spoon until fully integrated.

4. Shape:

Roll the mixture into small meatballs approximately 2cm in diameter. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each.

5. Bake:

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly brush the meatballs with olive oil. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until fully cooked inside and lightly golden on the surface.

6. Cooling and storage:

Allow to cool completely. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–4 days. These meatballs can also be frozen for up to a month—thaw and reheat as needed.

Summary:

These handmade chicken and vegetable meatballs use the Geedel Manual Vegetable Chopper to process vegetables into fine, uniform pieces, ensuring easy digestion and nutrient absorption for pets. With simple, safe ingredients and a hygienic, controlled preparation process, they are an ideal choice for supplementing your pet’s protein and vitamin intake during the cooler seasons.
